Naturalness, unattractive?
Naturalness, unattractive?
Which is 'hotter,' the left or right picture?
To take a photo without makeup is one thing, but to take a bad photo without makeup is another. Celebrities; we see them on TV, they entertain us, and oftentimes, they give us fashion ideas. Also, many girls may deny it, but uncommonly, we wish to look like them as well. However, we're often struck by their beauty so much, we often forget they're wearing makeup, and rarely, if not ever, take pictures without it. Therefore, we're often shocked after seeing photos of our favorite celebrities without their makeup. Usually, they get positive looks while taking photos on the red carpet with their neat, long hair, professional makeover, and stylish clothing, yet, when their natural look is shown next to their makeover picture, they get called 'ugly' or unattractive by the public. From what I've noticed, the natural picture is more often than sometimes taken when the celebrity is caught off guard, usually not paying attention to the camera, or donning an awkward expression. The celebrity also commonly has messy hair and her clothes in this picture aren't stylish as the clothes in her red carpet pictures. Therefore, I believe most stars without makeup images found online are unfair comparisons. Just because a camera guy captured a celebrity with messy hair, plain clothing, and awkward expression doesn't make her ugly, only the picture can be considered 'bad.' I'm sure if any girl had a picture taken while she went out with feral child hair, pajamas, and scratching her butt would take a 'bad' picture. These 'stars without makeup' comparisons would be better and 'fair' if the girl fixed her hair, wore her usual attractive clothing, and was actually prepared for the picture with a smile.
